Create a runner An alt character is a character that can be used to augment the abilities of a main character, say staying near the Auction House. This has no other purpose, but to be stationed near the Auction House to prevent you from running back and forth major cities every time you want to sell your loot.

Make no mistake about it, gold farming is a pain in the neck. It is repetitive, exhaustive, and tedious means of generating income. Unfortunately, there’s no way to get around this.
